I know a lot of people don't like the seme, but does anyone else just have a feeling that- whether it's because he grew up a certain way or something else entirely- he has his first crush and he's too social inept/ awkward to know how to deal with it.

You guys know just because he had a crush on the seme, it's not illegal or immoral for him to seek out a more direct guy, even as a fling. I'm not really sure why people are aggravated with the uke, when the seme really wasn't anything beyond a fantasy and crush.

The only thing I disliked about these types of stories(there are yaois where the uke is a demon or something that has similar vibes.) Is that the seme is able to stop everything and do anything, but the uke has no special power. I thought he would at least be able to properly communicate with his own species type.

The first story seems like another manga even the seme looks alike where the uke hates the seme after something that happened during their childhood, but the seme did not recognize him at first. I think it was from the seme saying "I have no friends" to the uke that though they were friends.

I get people are in love with alek but he has been really ambiguous and mean to hen if we we're to consider every guy that had a sad past a lot of people would be in bad relationships. Ivan is so open with Hen and makes him feel special and tell him everything. I don't know about you guys but I have been waiting for a good seme like Ivan since ameiro paradox's open and encouraging/ lovingly bullying seme.Yet..although alek has been very ambiguous with hen I hope his next relationship is one that challenges him to open up. He needs a leader like himself..so hopefully this hen lookalike is it. I am rooting for him definitely, just not with hen.
Also something most people seems to have missed alek has fingered hen and masturbated him. Yet never penetrated Hen or even let hen pleasure him.
Those who have criticisms for this manga; characters without flaws are flat characters, if you want to see a sweet manga throughout there are a few available but theyll either end short or eventually get boring
People see bara, they know from the description its going to be bara... it then has less stars because someone finds out in the story its bara...

I think everyone including the author knows that workplace harassment is wrong and uses that as the main drama in his/her story. An immature seme who let's a past rejection get in the way of his current feelings, and not able to properly deal with the emotions. Vs a uke who is hard working, but suffers from the perils of office work social relationships and harassment. I personally love the authors attempt at this, and it's obvious he/she wants us to dislike the seme at first.
It should be polite to use they/them if you don't no their gender because they can be non-binary
