It feels like the story focuses on the blue haired short man moreso than the main character. idk about anyone else but I always feel weird when one character is loved by everyone while the main character just has one person haha, just a personal preference

Remember guys every artist has their own interpretation and representation of their art, neither is bad: you can overexaggerate, make true to life, or underexaggerate whatever features you like. Thats why anime has overexaggerate eyes and body types its all up to the artist. Ive noticed too many people wanting stories and artstyles to be more to their realistic expectations nowadays.

Not taking any translators side at all, but many of the mangas that have the Yakuza in them have them talk like that because that is their “gang speak”. basically using words like “ya” amd “ain’t” because they aren’t high society people. The author may have purposely had him talk that way. Maybe the translators changed that later?
