But from the other comments it seems MC stopped loving ML even after years of redemption from ML, but MC was unable to get away from him because the MLs sister threatened him. So he is maybe just powerless but it's still heartbreaking, MC deserves a happy life with someone who loves him wholeheartedly. ML doesn't even deserve to touch the shadow of MC but MC is just unlucky to live with him even if it's a loveless arrangement from his end.
