I actually really hate Charles. She tried, but he ignored her and hated her. Right before she left him for good, she warned not to regret anything if he remembers. Now that he remembers his past, it's like he's forgotten the past six years. So it's not his fault he forgot, but he treated her so badly... does he really want to go through so much just to be her friend again? I don't get it. What's wrong with him?
Meanwhile, the CEO (I forgot his name rip) is also pretty hatable. However, something someone said about Professor Umbridge and Voldemort from Harry Potter struck me.
We hate Professor Umbridge more than Voldemort because her crimes are more relatable and personal. Of course, Voldemort's done so much worse, but because he's done so many terrible things he's just a fictional character. He will never exist for us, while Professor Umbridge is probably someone we all know.
I think it applies here as well. The richest man in the world coming after you, kidnapping you, and raping you is so fictional, but the betrayal and hurt caused by a loved one is so much more realistic. Being constantly shut down in a one-sided relationship is real. It hits closer to home.
That's why I hate Charles, more than the CEO, for his inability to understand her.

Heh you're welcome! I'm glad you could understand. It just felt so weird reading all the comments about how they felt bad for Charles, because she literally warned him to not regret anything when he remembered. He never believed her or even asked her for the truth. And now that he remembers, it really feels like he's forgotten the past six years. If he feels bad and wants to apologize, what he's doing right now isn't it (ie. sneaking around, being competitive with the CEO, etc).

I understand that his parents being neglectful doesn't justify the way he treated his peers. He definitely already had some superiority complex as a kid. However, nobody tried to help him, much less stop him. As a kid, if you're not taught correctly, it's hard to fix your own mistakes. To Ollie, there was (and still is) nothing wrong with what he's done so far. John is his friend and even family, and he likes to feel like king. His mom regretted birthing him? Alright, well he doesn't need her either. Ollie still has a very childlike mentality so even now, it will be hard to get him to change unless he undergoes some actual therapy (especially since he's grown up like this the whole time). Again, I'm not trying to justify his behavior because bullying is just really stupid and can be traumatizing (like we saw with the kid from earlier), but I'm trying to get y'all to at least understand why he's still like this. This kid doesn't need anymore hate in his life- he needs help.

Anybody know other manga that's low-key messed up like this (like yaoi, kidnapping, rape, psychological horror, etc)? Hogu Hagyeongsu is one example, Warehouse is another. There was one more that was pretty bad but I forgot its name.

Well, there is one just like this called Warehouse (and of course there is Killing Stalking, but you probably read that already). Dark Heaven is pretty good, but it is mostly drama (with yaoi, of course).
here is a link to a list that I used to find some good psychological yaoi titles (I'm just too lazy to name them all): https://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=38870

Elise has actually done so much?? Like she saved so many people (including the King himself) and she helped decrease the casualties in the war. She discovered new methods of surgery and everybody's praising her so much. She's like the equivalent of that really special alchemist or something, but it's STILL not more worthy than becoming the next empress? What does she have to DO OLD MAN???

Well i guess it's because the king said for elise to prove herself as a doctor that is more ( idk what term to use ) worthy? than becoming an empress and her giving some advice for the supposed to be upcoming war is empress-like??
But the old guys (doctors?) are realizing that it's such a waste for elise to become just an empress so i hope she at least gets to be both (if that's possible ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ )
the artist(s) keeps Kouichi and Caius consistent (as in, the differences between their sizes/heights). Lots of detail put into this that I enjoy (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
