No ofc not, he's the mc. He won't die but worse, the poor thing is gonna go through hell you'd wish he bit his tongue and died already. That smol thing is tougher than he looks even though he's young and a bit naive. That ml has one hell of a plot armor, you'd wish to smack the living daylights outta him because unfortunately no one else can and it's frustrating.

Although the sociopath ml does fall for him and the mc too(never in my life will I ever understand why tf- )
I get that this setting is in a dystopian oppressive society, but the way the characters treat r*pe in this story especially the ml(in hopes to turn him into someone like himself, and to ignite and fuel his vengeance lmao what? like focus your vengeance on the real enemy) that will certainly infuriate you, just giving you a heads up, (ofc there are some, just some likeable characters but they unfortunately are powerless under the chain of command) I'm still frustrated. I'm not even rooting for the ml. I've never hated a character this much, I hate his friend's guts too even though he did not se*ually assault the mc.

Will the ML atleast...suffer? Like..

The genre of this manhwa is tragedy. There is definitely no happy ending.
