It's tagged as a Shounen Ai and romance. On the site it's originally published on it's tagged as a BL. But this story just simply isn't that, like, at all? It's a cute story but I feel like I just wasn't able to truly appreciate it because it sold me on a certain expectation that I was waiting for throughout the whole story, that ultimately never came. I know I'm not the only one thinking this either. It honestly just kind of sucks
Yeah I really get that. I feel like it had hints throughout the story and they kind of realized their feelings (or at least the ml did) and that was part of his growth. Which made it more ok that there was less bl. I do hope that we see a bit into the future and their relationship if there are side stories.
Did Sunwoo never try and blackmail Taemoon? Like I don't remember any blackmail there at all but Taemoon constantly brings it up. He just jumped to his own conclusion over Sunwoo bringing up the app stuff. There was a whole chapter basically dedicated to clearing the miscommunication between them but that was never addressed? Am I going insane or something lmao
Tbh, yeah, I don't think Seonwoo said he was going to blackmail him, but he did try to rile him up about the notification: https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/punch_drunk_love/uu/to_chapter-4/pg-14/
In any case, Taemoon's right in calling him a stalker because that's basically what Seonwoo is, lol. But blackmailer? Not really.
I just think it's kind of crazy his appearance has taken such a strong focus in the plot considering Sunwoo looks the same no matter how he dresses? Like sorry but no I don't believe it when everyone was like "omg who's this new guy" when he decided to just wear contacts and have his hair down for a day lmaooo he looks just as he did before! The exact same!
I know it's just a nightmare but that whole thing kind of just put a sour taste in my mouth (¬、¬) like sorry but idgaf about that ex, I like this one main couple and a random unprompted unexpected threesome is just so foul.
no thats this guy https://www.mangago.zone/home/people/409846/comment/?page=2
Like the ending of the s2 finale itself, just what such a beautiful moment. So tender and soft and delicate, it just shoots directly through my heart(/TДT)/ honestly I'd be content if this was the series finale—I'm glad it's assumedly not, I can't wait for season three, but this finale was just . . . Oooohhh my heart. My heart. It was so perfect ;w; really wrapped everything up nicely and I'm so soso so happy it left the characters off in a good moment, a good place, with the chance to get even better
Anyone else hate the little side plot with Wooyeon's ex-girlfriend? It felt like it came out of nowhere but on top of that, it didn't feel like it added anything to the story. It didn't really explain Yeon's actions, because he didn't seem to have any baggage with relationships until this stuff got introduced. It was a fluffy story where he was clearly head over heels for Taeho with nothing really getting in the way of that; sure it took him a while to realize he liked him, but once he did, there was never any internal conflict with Yeon liking Taeho. And then in the side stories there was a whole chapter dedicated to him, for some reason that I don't really know, going and trying to reconnect with her? It came out of left field. The whole thing just felt like the author needlessly trying to add angst where angst just isn't needed
I haaate when authors make the story focus exclusively on one couple, but then in the next season out of nowhere put the attention on a new couple that hasn't even been as much as hinted at. It's so frustrating. I just spent so many chapters with this one specific couple and now they've been put on the backburner for a whole new couple for no reason? There were still so many things you could've done with them. Idgaf about the dudes brother.
same, that's exactly what happened in Blood Link too and I couldn't get into the son and his partner, I was only there for the parents.
