When Jinsol revealed he could actually ONLY lie, my jaw fucking dropped Σ(っ°Д °;)っ the realization that all those "I love you's" meant hit me in the face like a bag of bricks. I swear that plot twist was done so fucking good, I had actually completely forgotten up until that point the scenes that suggested there was something odd with him. It's like as Saegye started to find him more trustable, so did I. Amazing writing fr

Also, am I just forgetting or has Mokhwa never really mentioned actually liking Nakwon before this chapter? But then he goes and drops that he's been ready to date him for months . . . It's cute tho. Definitely makes me look at a few things differently now, in a positive(ish) way ๑(◕‿◕)๑

Not “I like him” perse. But that’s because he doesn’t use that kind of vocabulary because this is the first time he’s experiencing this kind of relationship. But it’s been hinted several times and Mokhwa actually said how he’s gotten used to Nakwon’s warmth and presence and how he’s actually looking forward to it. He always mentions how annoying Nakwon is because he’s too extroverted. But he likes his company and he has mentioned that and it has been hinted that Mokhwa like Nakwon too. It just that due to Mokhwa not been used to relationships other than the ones he had out of obligation with his mafia group, he doesn’t know quite yet how to put it into words.

The line "maybe Hakdo will love Doochi forever" singlehandedly changed the way I look at the ending. I can't help but feel like there's this looming question of whether or not Hakdo will be able to truly move on and really give his all to the relationship or if his heart will forever have that anchor on it. It's bittersweet—and that's not a complaint or criticism, if anything I think the complexity of it is what really sealed this as being a favorite. It felt realistic, it's not easy to just get over your first love, especially not if you loved them for so long, but Hakdo dating Sangho now shows he's willing to try and oooohhh it's just so beautiful to me ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

I also think the line is up to self interpretation... We do see an improvement in their relationship and it does seem like hakdo is really interested in sangho. Maybe it's the type of love where you really just put someone on a pedestal because of how good that person is, but nothing more and nothing less hehe.. This story is so fresh and new compared to others and the fact that they're a switch! Love it
As soon as Minseok walked into the hospital room I just started bawling The ending is both so satisfying but also just so not. Because it was really just a last goodbye and I found that so heartbreaking. They ended up growing old without each other and now that they've gotten to such an age, all they could do with the time they had left was give each other that resolution, just one last song. That's so bittersweet and beautiful. And they didn't even say "I love you" to each other. And like, they didn't need to because it really spoke for itself, but I so wanted them to man
