I don't understand why this story doesn't start with special chapters 10-15 because it brings the story so much depth. And the only reason why I like this story is because of the special chapters because it explains why the male lead is acting how he is acting.
If I were to recommend someone this story, I would say, start with the special chapters 10-15 and there's another set of special chapters, I just can't find them. But it shows that the ml has been with this man OR trying to get to the mc for generations. That is why his grandfather looks the same and most of the heads of the family start looking the same, because they're trying to find the mc.
So of course, if you you have been with someone for generations or you've been trying to find someone for generations when you get the chance to be with them, you are going to do everything in your power to be with them.
And this is not me excusing what the ml has done because there was no consent and the mc did say no a couple times. So there is no excuse there, especially if he knows that they have been with each other for generations, so he didn't not have to take it that far.
But the story does have way more depth when you understand that the ml was always looking for him for generations because of tragic back stories. And the main story, they hint at it all the time as they keep showing him as royalty. And it's crazy that they don't explain that background until the very, very end of the story.
And that is the reason why I think people do like this story it is because it's the ml that has been chasing the mc for generations and has never wavered their love and who they are, no matter the time period. (⌒▽⌒)

I kinda don't like the mother either..... because if my son was beating up a dude I'm with i want to figure out what's going on to make my son do that. Especially if it's out of his character. My son is my life that man can come and go.
I do feel like if she sat the son down and demanded him (aka look me into my eyes and tell me what is going on.Tell me the truth and everything) what is going on then things wouldn't have gone so bad.
SO... I understand they all did something but to say the mother is the perfect victim is a weak take. Because her lack of being attentive to her child emotional well being ( *reasons bellow) also contributed to this entire mess.

Now i know bl's don't take any logical approach, but since he has so much money.Why wouldn't he just hire or ask a pharmacist. What is going on with these pills. If it was already out in america, that means there should be extensive research on side effects and what is going on with these pills. And I know you can hire a pharmacist to tell you and test those pills before giving the pill to the one that you LOVE. (〜￣△￣)〜
( But maybe that's because I grew up with a mother that is a pharmacist that will tell anyone what a drug is no matter what)
