Most isekai manga is harem to some extent. So, it's assumed that it is.
Personally, I see nothing wrong with harem, as long as it's written well. And not a bunch of brainlets running around.

You make a good point. Dumb useless bimbos that do nothing but cling to the protagonist, yell a lot and act all prissy while secretly being in love with the MC can get annoying at times. And I'm normally tolerant to that stuff. Even I agree that I want to read something with a bit more substance more often.

In other words, you are paranoid. How about you wait and see before judging. Afterall, what if you are wrong? Only drop it when it is a guarantee that they are going to add a harem with no substance. Some harem manga are good. That's why they say don't judge a book by it's cover.

I agree wholeheartedly! A lot of these manga creators have been around for quite some time, their fans have also grown as they have. We're not little kids who get excited or think it's funny to see some guy with a bunch of annoying dumbass girls who are constantly flashing their boobs or showing their underwear. It makes a whole story pointless, repetitive and overall asinine to have the same crap shove down your throat like it's some unique experience. It's not... it's literally regurgitated garbage

I can't disagree with that. I'm more tolerant to it than others and even I occasionally think "This is dumb" and go to read something else. And yes, I've read a lot of manga and manhuas.

...No crap there are new readers all the time. That doesn't stop a manga author for making quality stories without needing to add fan service and harem's as a crutch. Because let's face it, it is a crutch. And who wants to constantly read about a pushover MC and several abusive or jealous bimbos. You can literally predict how the story will flow based on the MC's attitude and how many girls show up. At that point the story isn't even entertaining or focused on the main storyline anymore it's just filler nonsense. And the sad thing is, they will write the same story five times just with different names and character designs. It's cool that you like harems, but not all of us do

It can be a crutch, I agree. But not always.
