Joonyoung was OBVIOUSLY the better and healthier choice rather than Doyoon, with his manipulative personality and not to mention their abusive, toxic relationship. SMH.

As much as I condone the mc’s actions, I can also strangely relate to it. Being brought up in a toxic environment, it molds your personality, sense of reality, and even what you perceive to be as “normal”. Although it doesn’t and will never justify his actions, but what matters most is that he developed a sense of self-awareness that ultimately led to self-improvement... which I think depicts real life sufferring, internal torment, and personal growth.
