I remember reading this last year and got bored, I come back to give it another try and still got bored. Just skimmed through the last chapters and all I gotta say is: I really wasted my time on this. First of all, they’re siblings. “BuT tHeY’rE nOt bLooD reLaTeD-“ I dont care, that shit is still weird. But hey, if you’re ok with step incest, go for it. Anyway, there’s a lot in this story, seriously just look at the damn chapter count, for starters the MC chick falls for a guy and guess what she does? Pretends to have a boyfriend. Oh boy I sure wonder who- her own step brother pretends to be her boyfriend. So stupid and unnecessary, throughout the story they add more characters, in which adds more “dRaMa/mYstErY”. More characters get introduced to try and make the reader think “omg who is this and how do they know so much:0” but honestly it just makes everything confusing. Honestly glad I dropped this, would not recommend :/
This whole pretending was for the buildup to happen and if you’re not fine w non related “cousins” growing up together then don’t read lol. This entire story was a beautiful demonstration and portrayed each relationship perfectly while also depicting the difficulties of human emotions and how easily swayed people get by other external factors despite everything. This story was fcking amazing and honestly is a shame you just dropped it. Obviously, it’s your decision at the end of the day but it’s truly a pity how you couldn’t see the beauty of this story and couldn’t see past their “incestual” relationship when they’re not even blood-related.
