I was fearful that this would be another regurgitated version of SL but honestly, it's holding well on its own. There are obvious references and callbacks but nothing that screams "We don't care about the plot just reread SL"
Our main character feels fleshed out and the backstory makes sense, he has similarities to his father but he also does stand alone as himself.
The plot is refreshing as before we were fighting ourselves as the shadow monarch but it's time to put differences aside and come together
This time, there are no siblings to look after and both parents are gone, so there's really nothing holding him back to earth if he is made to leave.
All in all so far so good
who cares that he has a girlfriend, SHE'S ALLOWED TO HAVE HER FEELINGS. I hope it won't be a situation where the other girl breaks up the cause of their friendship and then that "opens" a spot. It's a little annoying but it's not her fault that she likes him and that he happens to have a gf. She can support him without the idea of wanting to "snatch" a taken man like relax y'all.
THIS PLOT IS ASS
forcing someone to do something because other people were disappointed is weird
he can't even catch a break
he's being forced to travel back in time
then he can't even act as he wants to
and he has to go back in time constantly if he doesn't fulfil the criteria
DEBUT OR DIE WANNA BE BULLSHIT
He also would not have earned a penny without the fan he disrespected so easily ?
Also i want to know if he really dreamt of being an idol and could have made better choices to make it successful ( like putting his sidetrack on the charts by interacting with the same fans he totally disregarded in the future)
