yea, I get what you mean. The confidence MD is giving off makes me believe he has power over Alex or at least knows how to manipulate him. Almost as if he has info on Alex's past that can be used against him. I'm curious who was Alex's first bf and what the circumstances were. In fact, I kinda have a feeling Alex was the first one to confess his love (someone who was probably older than him) and was thus being taken advantage of in the relationship. This would explain a little bit why he dislikes being in a relationship. Though if all these assumptions by me turn out to be true, I think Alex realizes he's doing the exact same thing as his ex had done to him, and throughout chapters it feels liek Alex is having a chnage of heart or sympathozing with DG.
