1. i LOVE the feminist ideals that the fl brought and demanded came true in the empire, i often wonder while reading historical manhwas why many of the fls after gaining power arent shown to demand rights and i am so happy that we finally get this in this story!! so well done and realistic too !
2. the portrayal of trauma is AMAZING, the fl carries her trauma and us affected by it up to the very end of the story, and even then she is still reminded and yerns for her mother, its do realistic how she doesn't instantly forget the brutality she was put through like in other manhwas!
3. its SO REFRESHING to see a fl who actually isnt an idiot and is actually a very realistic person, even while not being able to do certain things she is not portrayed as dumb, quite the opposite! she is amazing at reading others and she consistently understands the situations she is in, i adore fls who actually stand their ground and show that they are not simply love interests but also people with strong personalities and intelligence
4. beautiful relationship, i love how both of them yearn for eachother so intensely and how they SHOW eachother their love! its so frustrating when couples in manhwas are not open and cause misunderstandings continuously! Also i personally appreciate the choice not to show smut, i feel like it makes their relationship closer and more private ^.^
5. lets not forget about the art!!! it is simply stunning (▰˘◡˘▰)
6. only thing i didnt appreciate totally about this wonderful story was maybe the overly possessiveness the main couple had? but thankfully i did think it was quite ok since both were very transparent about it and it was consensual
