10 years ago, after “the Gate” that connected the real world with the monster world open...
Portals constantly open around the world, where dungeons full of monsters lurk. People with spiritual power, called hunters, find it to be their job to enter those dungeons and kill the monsters. The weakest hunter to exist, after completing a high-level dungeon, is suddenly able to level up at will and get as powerful as he wants!
