i lost a manhwa, basically the plot is like this guy gets reincarnated into this manhwa he likes but as a mob character and he spends a lot of the beginning of the story trying not to become irrelevant to the story because he'll die or something, he's friends with this little blond girl with a ponytail and he might be kind of ugly but idk
are there any real games like the one here??? i always see manhwa about games like this and they look soo fun and i wanna play them but whereeeee
They kind of don’t exist anymore at least in the English speaking space, the closest you’re gonna find is probably ff14 (or WoW or RuneScape if you hate yourself)
I think they're playing maplestory
It's a genre called MMORPG. This story was said to be inspired by one called Maple Story, but for getting into the genre I would suggest trying Final Fantasy XIV Online. It's old but still gets updated (it's getting a big update this summer) and has an active player base still. As well as it isn't as grindy as most MMORPGs and most of the early game stuff you can unlock and get just by doing the main story quest.
it seems to be a mix mostly of ragnarok online & maplestory, but there's probably also homage to latale and other mmos.
guys i tried to play maplestory and it sucked it was so boring i hated the story and the controls and everyone was just sitting in the world doing nothing if i wanted to see that i wouldve been playing PONYTOWN
yeah, if you play solo, most mmos will be boring as hell. if you set goals, like completing quests, leveling, or exploring, they're slightly less boring, but the key to mmos is interacting with other players. most of the old fashioned mmorpgs are ghost towns these days. people want more excitement and don't have as much leisure time as they used to, plus the old style games don't get anywhere near as much attention by devs bc they just don't pull in the money like modern mmos with microtransactions. sorry you had this experience, I totally get it.
