even then, inmigrants usually tried to give their kids more spanish sounding names so they would blend more or werent even allowed to by law. i looked it up in the national registry (their data goes back to 1922), and since 1945 (when the first person named isabelle was born) and 2015, only 51 babies were named Isabelle. while its possible, its higly unlikely
