I think it would have been just a teeny better if Kaoru started dating another guy when Aragaki found him the second time. That would have really shaken Aragaki up. Nothing opens a selfish seme's eyes like seeing who he thinks is his (when he wouldn't even commit), with someone else.

Haha, I've actually read a manga with that story line and, hmm... it was satisfying at first, of course, getting back at the other and all that but as the reader who knows they're going to end up together anyway yet both of them have hurt each other just for the sake of being fair, I feel really sad.

Human's are selfish, self-satisfying creatures. We have to fight our true nature in order to be decent people. Because this is the case, we often screw up pretty bad and do dumb things that hurt others and, in turn, hurt ourselves. This is why forgiveness is so important to us as well, whether it is giving it, getting it or withholding it. You're right, it is sad. The ideal would be to just forgive. You won't forget, that's impossible, a bell can't be "un-rung", but you can move forward and try to do better with the opportunity. Sadly, though, most humans are pretty stingy with forgiveness. Which, of course, circles back to us being selfish and self-satisfying. It's a vicious cycle that anyone can simply choose to break.

Have you read this already?

Somewhat the same as our topic but I think this manga's author showed more skill in the sense that satisfaction for the readers as they see the seme suffer for his misdeeds were properly delivered without tainting the uke's pure character.

Yes, just recently. The uke handled the whole situation in a very mature and dignified way. Which allowed the seme to self reflect on his own and, in doing so, realized his own faults without having to be told directly. It was one of the most mature ways I've ever seen such situations handled in a manga. I liked it very much.

I totally agree with you. Hina wa was way better than Overdose but the latter was indeed a bit shorter than the former so maybe that was it, readers can't feel the seme's "struggle". Supporting characters did point out, though, that the seme was slowly falling apart although he himself may not have noticed.

Yuu-chan just pissed me off. He didn't have a problem having sex with other people, but when he saw Tomo get it on with someone else at the orgy, he was like, "but, but Tomo is mine..." So, I had no sad feelings for Yuu-chan when he and Tomo broke up. I was wondering why Tomo didn't seem to have a problem with Yuu-chan having sex with other people, but after Hoshi showed up at the orgy it was obvious Tomo and Hoshi still loved each other. I guess we can thank the despicable Sensei for bringing them back together, even though it took raping Yuu-chan and some group sex to do it. Wow, my post sounds so confusing.

I actually think it was't Tomo having sex with Hoshi that got to Yuu, but rather he recognized that Tomo wasn't going to be with him anymore, after seeing Tomo with Hoshi and that Tomo loved Hoshi.
I gotta admit that line. "I had Tomo," really hit hard because that's where it seemed sink in to him just how badly he fucked up.

Yeah he realizes he "had" Tomo. But then decides to call him over to get rapey raped ANYWAYS!
He's like, "oh no! Love, what have I done? I'm so sorry. Tomo! Why?!... Well hello there penis, fancy meeting you here. Well there's no use crying over spilt milk. What's a little thing 'love' when you compare it to sex?"

Seme has always loved uke but won’t confess. Takes away uke’s girlfriends behind his back and then dumps them. Finally confesses to uke but breaks up when crazy obsessed woman makes a threat. Uke saves the day.
I hate to rain on everyone’s parade about galant uke saving his seme, and of course it makes for good action, but, um...seme could have nipped it in the bud at the very beginning. Instead of wimping out when that woman threatened Nagisa, all Taiga had to do was exactly what Nagisa did. Grab her by the face and tell her, bitch, he’s mine and if you go near him I will ruin you. Then let Nagisa and the other guys know what happened so that they could be on the lookout, just in case. Notify police of potential stalking threat. And what’s with letting her tie him up and gag him? Taiga could have had her running scared.

I read the whole thing again to sort out the cheating thing. We my not like that Aya was sleeping with other women, but Aya and Yuu-Chan weren’t technically lovers. Yes they had feelings for each other, had sex and spent time together, but no confessions since it seemed that they were essentially in a figuring-it-out mode. I’m convinced that Aya had absolutely no clue that what he was doing was upsetting Yuu-Chan or was wrong, since his past experiences were pretty much just sex and being taken care of by women including his benefactor. Now he’s in love for the first time, but still feels obligated to his benefactor for taking care of him, and doesn’t figure it out until his benefactor points it out to him. Yeah, he’s a little dumb. But at least once he figured it out, he stayed committed and they finally mutually confessed to each other.
If the mutual confessions came first and Aya still fooled around with women after, then there’d be a problem.

Nope there's still a problem. Since Yuu had the expectations that this would be an exclusive exchange (as I outlined above) it is still cheating. Not once did Aya come out and tell him about his relationships with his benefactor, either. Not even after he realized the truth. Nor did he apologize to Yuu for making him feel that he needed to distance himself from Aya. After all, Aya still does not believe he did anything wrong to YUU. He's still just selfishly relating to it within the context of how HE feels about it. Thus Aya victim blamed Yuu for it. Disappointing.

I remember reading the last update, and when I saw this update I read it from the beginning cuz it is so sweet and, feelz. Good ending, complete and satisfying.
I didn’t even think about it last time but Kedama is literally “furball.”
毛玉 First kanji is fur/hair, “ke.” Second kanji is ball, “tama.” Together becomes “kedama.”
You all know what you’re going to name your next fluffy pet, right?
I wanted to see the mom meet her new son-in-law!
