Joo Muhyuk, a prosecutor and Taekang’s friend, promised to dig up everything about Yigon (Chapter 29-30). I know it will take time, but I really hope he’ll find out sooner that Yigon is innocent and that it’ll make Taekang feel deeply regretful. I hope by the time that truth comes out, Yigon will already be gone all alone, vanished, disguising himself from the world like he never even existed.
I also hope that by then he’s found a place where he’s truly treasured with the love he deserves. Or maybe the author has another regret arc planned, idk. But what matters most is I just want Yigon to disappear from this fucking dirty world.
It’s painful to see someone trapped and powerless to fight, yet unable to escape. But I still hope he finds a way to break free. I've imagined a few other plots too. Maybe Yigon will do something crazy like $u1c1de. Or maybe, when his brother tries to kill him, Taekang sees it with his damn eyes. Idk which path it’ll be. You can call me crazy, I just want Yigon to be brave enough to run away this time. Whatever path he takes.

I think December and Payback are my favorites from Samk. The artists did an amazing job too, they delivered the stories through great artwork ㅠㅠ
I think the absence of a father figure in Jiyun’s life made him more drawn to older men. His first love was actually one of his mother’s exes, and interestingly both he and his mother seem to have the same taste in men. I’m not entirely sure what caused Jiyun to develop this preference, but it could be that every man his mother dated gave him a glimpse of what having a father might feel like. However, because his mother’s romantic relationships were always uncertain and never lasted, that might have shaped the way Jiyun’s sexual orientation developed toward men, especially those who are older.

So, is Jiho 18 or 20 exactly? I saw someone say that in the novel Jiho is 20 but in Manta he's 18. With that kind of big age gap, I’m still questioning it & trying to figure it out myself. I don't understand why they changed it that much to 18 (?)
