this sudden outburst was very abrupt, and unwarranted. it was very out of character for haruki. we've followed the two since vol1 & yes haruki is very jealous and possessive when it comes to naoto san, but he has never NEVER indicated any sort of funny regarding naoto's SA. He has been mature and a rock for the family, and only pushed naoto forward. they've had 3children, so bringing naoto's insecurity into their squabble was very very VERY low, and not like him.
it felt to me like the author wanted this arc to be nudged and supposedly out and about, but then again it was so very not weaved in with haruki's character arc. it feels like the author has put a dent in their relationship which will forever stay, & can never be resolved completely. it left a bitter taste in our mouths as well. dunno what is to come & how this will be resolved but i just want my babies to be happy.
erm I think the ooposite: this might the the arc where we can see the real hazuki and real character development.

yes from our perspective as readers it would seem that way, but do try to take into consideration the accumulated stress and insecurities Hazuki has had since the start, or since they had Minato (dude was really struggling to be a likable dad), or him trying so hard to make sure Naoto always live in comfort and happiness. personally it's so real of Hazuki, in his moment of insecurity and jealousy, to bring up Naoto's own insecurity. i've been an unwilling witness to irl couple fights and that kind of shit happens coz they're too caught up in their ugly emotions to stop and think that they'd hurt the other person with their words. oh and don't get me wrong, i'm not fending for Hazuki either, Naoto had every right to say that he's acting like a child so i hope they have a talk about it soon...

the mothers argument regarding their relationship isn't wrong, if it hadn't been under certain circumstances it could come off as predatory as well, but BUT the place where all of that rant and rejection is coming from is wrong. if she couldn't have provided a safe place for sooha, she had no right to take it away from himbas well.
both the mother and the uncle were really self-centered people, who exploited sooha and had no regard for him. they didn't even treat him right, it only after his attempt did haewon get his head outta his ass and get his shit together (totally deserved), while the mother simply kept exploiting sooha's situation till the end.
i absolutely detested every single character except and around sooha. like haewon deserved to go through hell, wanted him to beg and cry. the way he treated him then, driving him to the end of the cliff, i wanted him in pain. the pseudo mother and the father just absolutely detestable, all of these bastards had a hand in driving my baby insane. wish for the absolute worst to them.
After all of that torture, i finally want my baby to live a happy and content and fulfilling life, with his baby boy, just the way he had always wished for. ♡♡♡
ohh the chapter was so wholesome, them talking and conversing about their future together while getting some skincare done all the while fucking being all silly and giddy. i love them.
