hello world, does anyone have any recs for a game like world with a strong and badass mc (basically like solo leveling or omniscient reader) but mc is a woman ? if it's not game like, no matter, just the same kinda thing that omniscient reader or solo leveling but with a woman, no villainess or otome game or shit like that with romance at the center of everything bc god forbid women lived without romance
Bro, bro, bro, I got you, you're going to love this. "The one with a Villainess" is about a girl named Emi, who gets transported into a body of a Villainess, who is supposed to get her engagement with the crown prince broken and get exiled, but instead decides to be good. Sounds typical right? Except the real villainess is watching Emi all this time and basically falls in love with her. When the heroine arrives, the story stays the same and Emi's heart breaks from everyone betraying her. She and the Villainess switch places again and the villainess goes on a villainous journey. A demon king falls in love with her, but it seems she only cares about Emi and doesn't really care about him. The art is amazing, it especially gets to shine, when the artists gets to draw gods or MC's evil expressions.
Actually, if I can somehow make you read one manga, then please, please, please read Burning effect. Basically no romance. It's an action manhwa with interesting ideology and cool fights. The cast is made of both female and male characters and male characters aren't afraid to hit female characters and female characters aren't weaker. The story is complete and complicated, but absolutely not making shit up as it goes. If you reread it, you can see important plot points come up in super early chapter. Mc gets groped in the first/second chapter and immediately kills/or nearly kills the perpetrator and that's the first and last time the story uses typically female trauma on her. God it's such a cool story if you read it, please let me know how you liked it. Revolution! Found family! Racism and abelian allegories! So much family!!! Gah!!!! It has it all.

I find it interesting how the mc and ml have two very different point of views but are both understable. One was an idealist but is now a jaded guy and have very strong ptsd from what he went through. The other is an idealist, a YOUNG idealist, and didn't live (or just understand) the things that mc did, so it's pretty normal that he is seeing him as a coward, his idealism is compassionate as much as it is egotistical (doesn't mean he is right to call him a coward)
I actually like them both, they're very human and i don't understand people hating on ml
There is a bit part of me that hate the ML because he the "for the better good" type.
Within 5 people who escape the first gold dungeon, 2 kill themselves, 1 gone crazy, and 2 has decided to vanish from the world. Anyone can see that these 3 people left clearly are not in the right mind to enter another battle but ML still force the MC to do another dungeon raid because bro would do small sacrifice if its mean to save larger amount of people. And irks me everytime I think about it its a pet peeve of mine to see this type of people painted in only good light.
he is very pushy that's for sure, but he is made to be the opposite of the mc, the ideals that mc lose in all his sacrifices and ptsd, that's why i don't see him painted in a so much good light, he is just human, he will have to sacrifice too like mc, he just never did yet, that's why he can be so arrogant in his for the better good
