no not another story with a misunderstanding that is going to take like 30 chapters to clear up. this gives me 'how sweet is a sugar daddy ' vibes ( only because the misunderstanding takes so long to be cleared up )

there's a huge plot hole the sugar daddy author didn't take care of, and it has to do directly with the misunderstanding. we were made to think the girl was something specific and turns out she's not. BUT does this explain the "wife" incident in the first few chapters, and the stuff Mari would say in beginning of story. nope. and that's where SD story fell flat. at least here, it feels very organize - as in, this could have irl just as djun depicted it.

Yeah, the jist was
- Mari is known to go out with married men, who she calls "Oppa"
- Junyoung is Mari's friend, he knows about her relationships
- He sees Mari get slapped by one of her boyfriends wive's
- He sees her greet this guy, Shihoon (who looks like the fucking male version of her) by "Oppa"
- Junyoung jumps to conclusions and thinks he must be one of her married men
- Junyoung's landlord tries to rape him and he is rescued by Shihoon who knows he is Mari's friend.
- Queue 30 odd chapters of Mari never calling her brother by his actual name, and Junyoung thinking the man whose dick is inside him is married, despite their being no bloody evidence of this, nor does he ever actually ask him about his family situation.
Basically it's 2 plus 2 equals 60 and no one can communicate.
