I would say that mc is just a straightforward guy who sees ml coming at him actively, but with mixing some weird fetish things in and I guess his instincts tells him something is off and that's angers him. For now he need answers more than liberation I think, so wanting to get ml away from the drugs is pretty obvious reaction
