I can relate to whats happening to Hyesung about not being able to come back fast... What he experienced was TRAUMA. It is not an easy experience that can be shake off with so many people around you.
Psychiatrist are even involved with this kind of problems.

And if I may add, I don't think the guy wanted to make him feel guilty about byul, I just think that he considers him a good friend and it hurts him so bad to see his friend suffering. In a way i think that he thought that by giving him Byul, he would remember that even though he has a horrible past, his present isn't so bad. But it's not that easy, like you say, he just experienced the suffering from reliving a TRAUMA, is normal that he acts like that, I would be more concerned if the didn't have a reaction like that. IT JUST PAINS ME SEEING HIM LIKE THAT. Although I do like that the family of Dojin know a little more about him, than just the guy who is always so happy and cheerful and is good at math. But it wasn't the best circumstances to share his past. IT REALLY JUST PAINS ME. POOR GUY, AND WHAT A SCUMBAG OF DAD. Ive read until the end of season 1... And Yu is sooo awesome that he WILL NEVER FORGIVE HIM...
Yu was so determined and full of coldness... He will even give back the jade the seme (god i forgot his name) gave him just to show him that he felt nothing. (yu gave the jade on the seme's wedding. The wedding was to make Yu jealous. It backfired so bad when Yu doesnt give a shit about it)
And Yu's coldness and hate to him was so great that he wished on his deathbed (yup... YU WILL DIE... SORT OFF) that he never wished to be with the seme...
The most wonderful end of the season 1 was Yu will have his voice back... He will be able to speak.... (sort of effects with all the poison in his body)
