To be honest I seriously hate Michael's guts but I kinda feel sorry for his character and I think the fact that he became like his "father" was because of how his mother treated him and how he couldn't handle his feelings for sehyun. Looking at how his mother hated him so much due to how the husband abused her, she really shouldn't have taken it out on Michael, I think that's what kept pushing him to go crazy and abusive, instead she should've gave him up for foster care or something else rather than hating him for something he didn't do, blaming him and trying to get him to kill himself even though he was becoming something else.
So when sehyun said michael had become like his father, he lost his shit, since it's the truth but he doesn't want to believe it.
But at the same time, I can't fully blame her since she was a victim of domestic abuse, so the spawn of the man who abused was in front of her, and becoming like him, so I guess I kinda understand her hate, eventhough it was so toxic and not necessary.

Then since Michael never experienced a mother's love and he hated his father, as he was developing some sort of feelings whether sexual or romantic for sehyun whilst living with him, he didn't know how to handle it, and with how his mother blamed everything on him, he blamed everything that happened to sehyun on him, to make it seem as if it was sehyun's fault and sehyun had it out against him and wanted to seduce him which happened recurrently so sehyun was losing his mind as well, especially considering how he was recurrently being called trash which also developed his low self-esteem. (But there's probablymore to it)
Although, what I hated the most was how everyone who didn't know what truly was happening between Michael and sehyun, were treating michael as a beloved angel who helped out a stray minx, and sehyun was just a trashy pervert who would spread his legs for everyone which was reflected in how shocked Stephan was to Michael's real character as he even thought he was being lied to.
I swear all those trashy dickeheads who raped sehyun should go die in a ditch (︶︿︶)＝凸, seriously fuck them.
All in all, this manhua/manhwa was really good, I really enjoyed the tearjerker moments as well. By the way, this essay is based solely on my opinion.

I kinda understand your Point, BUT Michael shouldnt get one single bit of pity since the way he is kind to other People showed, he dont have to be abusive, he choose to blame sehyun since he wont blame himself and thats the worst on his Character. He cutted ties with his mother after all that, so he could have done it early.
The Mother isnt good either, she really should gave him to foster care.
I dont have any other Feelings for Michael except for hate. He never should be defended or anything since we all saw he couldve been a better Person but he choose to be cruel
True, I also dislike Michael for what he became and I'm not defending him, only looking at how things could've been, if certain things or situations were changed or did not happen but you do have a point since Michael had the choice to become someone better but ignored that option (=・ω・=).
