She’s starting to become a bitch like..Tye ML is bad but it’s not like he did anything bad yet she’s over reacting and is destroying him I mean if she listen to him for a sec she’d understand a lot like I mean I get where she’s coming from but she’s acting like he’s the damn devil himself ...

Even if he didn't revealed himself trough words, if she could think about the acts he does and put 1+1 together then she would realize that a lot of what he's been doing was for her and her interest, and she already knew before befriending him that he wasn't going to all nice and friendly since she knows the whole damn novel.
I agree with the fact topic person said, instead of treating him like a person with feelings (which is kind of normal if you know you got propulsed to a fictional world) she sees him as the villain and nothing else like it was a sort of setting players can't change.

there is nothing to put together because she doesn’t even know the 1 + 1. that’s the whole point. he does things considering her safety but Valrose doesn’t know it because he has only shown bad sides of himself to her. the incident with the tea, the birthday gift, telling her not to come to her house etc. there just wasn’t any clue in all of these! like where is the 1 1 she’s supposed to add? if there are no clues even Sherlock Holmes can’t solve a case. and EXACTLY because she read the novel she knows what kind of person he is, in the novel he’s a killer who only likes the fl and Valrose is killed by him. She knows the novel that’s why she believes he’s the villain because in the novel HE IS.

Yes but that's the problem, she follows the novel so blindly that she doesn't even give him a chance you said that he only did things that put valrose in a unconfortable position but did you forget about the fact that he drank holy water just in order to prove her it wasn't poisoned? Something that's she knows is hella toxic for him? Also what about the fact that even if she hurt him with her artifact he still cared about her falling from the balcony? Maybe for you those are not enough to prove that he care but at least admit that the fact that he is a villain is not certain.
And since she follows the novel so damn well the fact that Norton does not act accordingly to og character should at least rise suspicions.
And it's sad because she is in love with him but she didn't even realize because of the fear from what happens in the book.

um i don’t think you’re reading what i wrote because i never said Nocton is a villain. And yes he drank the holy water and the holy artifact too. but let’s not forget in the original novel Nocton was a literal villain, the lowest of the low, who used Valrose until her death. so OFCOURSE Valrose ain’t gonna trust him just cause of the holy water and holy artifact incidents. Because there are so many other incidents where he hurt her. You can’t blame the Fl for following the novel because that’s all she knows, add to that the fact Valrose was killed by him in the novel after being used. Also Nocton’s acting isn’t the only thing different from the novel, her engagement, the way her fiancé acts, the way the other acts. it’s all different so ofcourse she’s gonna be confused and follow the original novel more closely. i don’t know if you know but every character in all stories like this follows the novel even when things are different. it’s novel logic.

yes she changed the original plot we all know that. but when ones life is in danger and your killer is right infront of you, you tend to do stupid things. For Valrose Nocton is a rude asshole who originally used her and killer her. yeah it’s annoying how she and the other girl are tryna hurt Nocton but as of now both believe he’s evil
Tell me why I clicked 6 god damn times to see if I fucked up! Like damnn
