This manhwa does a poor job of representing mental health and its effects. It feels as though the author simply Googled mental illnesses and wrote about them without conducting proper research. The writing is also subpar.
What was the plot, exactly? Many topics and scenes were either skipped or rushed. I wish the author had explored the MC’s family more deeply, especially his father and mother. They mentioned removing his placenta, but I think they meant his uterus. The mother not only abandoned him with his unfit father but also refused to get him help at the mental institution and removed his baby and uterus. I don't understand what was going on there, why was she such a monster?.
Additionally, the author should have developed more comprehensive background stories for other characters, especially the male lead. He had no personality, and despite claims that he became meaner and colder, there were no visible signs of this.
Finally, there was zero character development. The author had the potential to make the story truly good, but it fell short, which is especially disappointing given its potential. (Sorry if this doesn’t make much sense—I usually don’t delve this deeply, but I felt compelled to do so this time)
