If Sekhmet didn't interfere and caused the Sharp Pain on Seth, Horus will be the one who'll get humiliated. Sekhmet interfered in the middle of it and controlled Horus too so the tables have turned.
about that I think, Sekhmet really just wanted to mess up with Seth since he cut her hand off and as a revenge, triggered his ''Inferiority Complex'' which played a role on how Seth just gave up in the middle of it and since Horus was also there and was conscious, why not share it.
