Every characters kind of making a big deal about the mysterious photo.... What exactly was it and why was it such a big deal?? Thank you!~
The photograph was of Jaeha kissing his professor while in college. His "friend" in college took the picture and sent it around. Everyone found out he was in a relationship with a man. It eventually got to his father--who kicked him out and later to his wife and that is why they got a divorce. That photograph pretty much ruined Jaeha's love life and made him the person that he is today.
There is more to that as well. Jaeha's professor was very problematic and manipulative, the flashback episode the author did is very spotty in my memory but I remember that he was a dick and fucked up Jaeha a good part.

I’ve started binge reading this yesterday and I’m on chapter 126ish. I honestly have no idea wtf has been happening since this whole “outer world” part.so much time traveling, betrayals, and mind twisting plots. I have a general gist of what’s going on but I still don’t know who yellena is and wtf happened with Reiner and this whole season has been chaotic as a reader. I do understand and like the whole change from human vs Titans to humans vs humans (or Titans vs Titans)
TLDR: the end chapters have gotten really confusing and I kinda prefer the earlier chapters.
Btw was there some random time skip when eren suddenly changed hairstyles? Did he infiltrate the outer world without telling everyone? How was everyone able to reach the outer world? Like what???
there is a 4 year gap if you have watched the anime it goes season 3 and then 4 years go by and now its season 4 hopefully that is easy to understand or answers your question ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
I recommend rereading it lol, and slower. It's truly a lot of content and sorta crazy to swallow.
