This story is unusual in that it doesn’t follow a linear progression of a typical plot line. The redemption is this scattered series of small acts throughout the story that summarizes to a series of realizations of the characters’ true natures and actions. Essentially, the story never attempts to redeem the characters because the author know they’re irredeemable. So instead, the author explains why they are the way they are through past traumas.
personally, it doesn't get more progressively twisted, bc i had desensitized myself to the shock-value moments and gangrape is the worst thing mc goes thru in terms of physical violence, but mc's suffering does gets worse and worse, emotionally and mentally. at some point, i did shed tears bc of how sad and heartwrenching it was. anyways, if u want a clear redemption arc will full-on groveling and confession, it wont happen. the wholesome romance stuff only happens in the side stories.
Will there be redemption arcs and kind of a romance here or...is it only going to get even more and more twisted till the end?
