Joowon and Haesoo's relationship makes me so happy and soft!! And they have come SO VERY FAR. I think Joowon keeps saying he loves Haesoo over and over, and is being so vocally affectionate towards him, just to make up for all the years he couldn't really do that. And also maybe because the feeling of telling Haesoo 'I love you' is hitting him all like: "WOW I can openly voice my feelings like this now (☆▽☆)". Like a child discovering something brand new and getting obsessed with it lol. Joowon is just so adorable and precious :")
Also thank god Haesoo's fun, bratty n cute personality IS BACK. Like I really missed it. He was kind of a block with Taku. With Joowon he actually shows his true -not so serious or polite- self.

When Haesoo walked out on JW to go with Taku: Joowon respected his wishes and fully left him alone. Instead he always tried to protect HS from the shadows despite getting nothing in return. He confronted Taku when he found out he was using Haesoo like his past models. JW also told Haesoo he'll always be there for him in any way Haesoo wants him as: even a hyung or friend, even though Haesoo broke his heart and said he liked someone else. Plus how Haesoo was just as much at fault for their relationship but Joowon didn't hold anything against him!! -nothing vindictive or bitter, because his love for Haesoo doesn't have any condition. He lost his acting gig to protect Haesoo. And now he stood up to his father just to be with Haesoo. He also respected Haesoo's decisions YET AGAIN to leave him, to go abroad for 3 whole years T_T he waited so patiently. He's just SO IN LOVE it hurts a little.
Joowon's development over the course of this manhwa was especially beautiful: like how he fully admits all his faults and how he said he was wrong for never telling HS he loves him because of their parents and cause he was scared to lose HS. His character development is well written, n his whole character is just realistic and raw and something to appreciate! Like how he's human and makes mistakes despite his good intentions, but he showed clear growth!!! I just love him :)))
I do honestly love to see mature taku stans in the comment section
I feel like no matter what side youre on, you'd be lying to yourself at this point if you blatantly villainize joowon after seeing so much of his perspective and realizations. And you also can't think that taku or haesoo are poor victims that did no wrong??? like that's simply not what this story depicts.
anyway, Love or Hate is such a well written manhwa with so much depth. I have a lot of respect for the author and artist for delivering this kind of story.

Also I may not be Haesoo's biggest fan cause I disliked him at some points in the series (or rather I was frustrated with his actions), I did grow to care about him a lot over the course of Loh. No matter who he ended up with, I at least hoped he was happy. And well he seems to be now! :D Also, fans sent cupcakes for Haesoo's birthday to the author and artist (i saw on twitter) which is very cute.
You know as a Joowonist, I've never been the hugest Haesoo fan in this story. But I never realized how RELIEVED I'd feel to see Haesoo genuinely smile and look so happy to see Joowon post time skip. In the end, all I really wanted was for this him to heal emotionally, and find the courage to face his feelings and love. It frustrated me to see him always lying about his feelings, and running away all the time, trying to fill the void in him with meaningless flings and relationships just because he loves Joowon and refuses to communicate it. I think he finally found himself by this point in the story, and I'm really happy for him.

hahah okay i'll try. i just held a grudge against him because it's always joowon chasing after him, and showing him unconditional love and support (LIKE THE PHONE CALL!!), while Haesoo doesnt give anything back. like joowon just wouldnt prioritize himself?? i understand why haesoo was like that tho, but it still frustrated me yk? anyway gonna reread the story to appreciate haesoo more
When Haesoo calls Joowon “Luggage guy” teasingly it was adorable + how he GENUINELY smiles!! He looks so happy. Haesoo and Happiness shuld always be a thing. And how Joowon says “Lets go home Haesoo”
