When I’m was reading about Trauma and sexual assaults the author mentioned that The victims esp if they were children they tend to one of the two extreme either over sexually active when they grow up as a coping mechanism or not sexual at all , I’ve noticed it also with the stories I read on crimes also sadly many men who grow up to be rapists were sexually assaulted when they were children but that doesn’t mean the crime they’re committing is in any way shape or form excused, please this is just a fictional story( also the time when this story takes place is so old so I doubt we should judge them by today standards of healthy relationship) don’t ever think you can fix someone like this.
Victims of such acts would have their own coping mechanism just to survive. Each person have their own ways to cope (whether or not its alright) but tge keypoint is that their doing it to survive (whether they want to or not; its an instinct). Especially with kids, I think they'd have thoughts of the pain ex. "it hurts" or to stop the pain or get away from it. I believe that most if not all kids wouldn't think of ending their lives first unless stimulated by another party. They're quite tenacious even if they werent aware of it.
Ah, but, this manhwa is a work of fiction though so as educated individuals, we need to learn to draw the line of fiction and reality. (i also hope the ones who make a mountain out of a mole hill would have the tact to not cause unnecessary drama and friction in the community).

And I agree with you each victim and his own coping mechanism to his unique situation, especially children who at the age they’ve been assaulted they don’t have a concept of sex Or pain so like you said they may result to those behaviors as an instinct as way of their brain trying to protect them.
