1) Too many people think dark/psychological/tragic storyline = good story. A story can be deep and meaningful without being soul crushingly sad. It's all about balance like a diet if you only eat sugary foods all day everyday it fuck you up. Just like you I hate puritanism and purity culture a LOT, I think sex is just another aspect of life and we should all be more open about.
