Yes, agreed. Honestly, I dropped this a couple times after reading the first couple chap bc it was just too frustrating. But I binged it for once and it is a very relatable story. I don't find the angst and frustration to be unnecessary at any point. Tbh teenage is a wierdly sensitive time for people. I too remember some stuff my mom said or did offhandedly that hurt me and stuck to me but when I bring it up she doesn't even remember it. So I get how that comment stuck with him for so long.

I might be an outlier here but I really liked this, the flaws in communicating just felt a lot more realistic than what I usually see in mangas. Plus it doesn’t make a huge deal out of their sexuality or demonize women like I see in a lot of other BLs.

This was such a cute read!! I’m a bit disappointed that we didn’t see what happened after they got together, but I actually liked the ending. I’m grateful that they didn't drag out any of the conflicts for another 200 chapters. Would recommend :)
