I feel like a lot of you guys don’t realize how conservative most eastern countries are when compared to the west about sexuality. it’s not a matter of biphobia or bi erasure, it’s just bisexuality and all the other sexualities y’all’s always list isn’t that big to begin with in Asian countries. I cant recall where exactly I read, but they pretty much use “gay” as a general term for if like guys, regardless if you like girls too. it’s probably why you see this trend/lack of bisexuality in many other series too.
that being said, I don’t think the author was trying to be offensive at all. they handle the topic of consent far better than most comics i’ve read, and I was pleasantly surprised by how nice and realistic the friend group was. it’s cute and short, definitely worth a read.
taku stans: get crazy defensive, personally offended, pull evidence from their ass to explain that Taku is still BABY who is just experiencing love for the first time so it justifies his recent forcefulness and possessiveness.
me, recognizing hyper defensiveness as an act of desperation and a last attempt to prove one is right in an argument they can’t win, :O
I just knew you'd comment
Like you are just kinda confirming op.
hi, so about the pulling evidence thing. this was inspired by someone’s comment stating that this recent sex scene was 100% completely consensual just because “Haesoo had his arms around Taku”. honestly, I was shocked. haesoo stated that he was tired; this was dubious consent at best—but that’s besides the point. Of course i don’t think all Taku stans are like how i described, but this was just a opinion i based on an accumulation of observations ive made in the comments.
