this !! i really wonder why they keep using this kind of plot. is it just a trend to easily market their work and earn money or more of how they view men and as a revenge to them knowing most of them are into 'r4p3 culture'. i've read an article about this that to control and discriminate against females solidifies as a man's status as a strong and "real" man. they also still follow the confucian background that emphasizes the gender roles; women should be submissive and supportive of men, while men are thought to be active and stronger. men should be more sexual than women. everything about these are quite prominent with bl manhwas.
