I never said the child belongs to him. I said it was not cleared if they were both infertile. The child does belong to another man, but it doesn't mean Sovieshu was infertile. Get your facts right.
In the novel itself it was said Heinrey and Navier had sex on the big magical bed. It is called a magical bed for a reason as it can do otherwordly stuff, to make it easier for your brain to understand, things like reverse effect and such so that is how she got pregnant and had kids that can turn into birds.
