In the end, the actions he chose are the ones which dictates where his moral grounds are and tells what kind of person he truly is. if he thought kaya had killed the king then maybe juuuust maybe his actions would be somewhat justified BUT THIS GUY LITERALLY KNOWS WHO ACTUALLY KILLED THE KING and he still chose to be on that assholes side, and still CHOSE to shoot kaya in the heart. even if he decides to help her out later, that won't change the fact what his weak ass did.
