Impressive how through the whole manga there was this atmosphere of sensuality that followed Sensei wherever he went - his eyes when he is about to shift gave me the shivers ... also, I noticed that even though Sensei presented himself as a demon, he was far gentler and more caring towards the uke than his disgusting family, never mind his classmates !!! He has the power of empathy, sees how hurt and lonely the uke feels and loves him and protects him all the way !
BTW, I would like to know why TF the boy's family despises him so much !! It's a real mistery ! I don't wonder that much about the way his classmates behave toward him - guys can be as jealous as females, and at that age, they are real assholes !!! :((
I had noticed that in Kodaka Sensei's 3 manga that I've re-read (one of them being Midare Somenishi), tragedy is very much present. But I loved the stories. I also noticed that the children Sensei draws are to die for - in this one, baby Rui is sooo cute, you want to pick him up and run away with him; the same happens in Hana to Ryuuji. Seeing that little boy trying to put a band aid on his friend's (later lover) big finger makes you want to tear up, thinking that even in death, he protected Ryuuji.
But it was very tragic - all the love Shirou felt was through pain. Without Shirou noticing, his little brother ended up being used as a sex toy for those thugs. Fujimaru let himself die with Shirou whom he loved, bc he felt he was the only one who gave him any worth. Shirou couldn't live with himself when he fell for the gang's chief - he was raped again and again, but still he fell for Sougetsuherou!
Love is found in the strangest places and with the unlikeliest people ...
The stories were all beautiful, but there was this feeling of sadness in all of them, so ...
The first story stands out in all its beauty and poetry - I also understand why it ended there, but I would have loved to read more about them, though ...
I thought Fuyuki was really hot, but Kagami and Kadokura were to die for !
I wonder how it would be for Fuyuki to fall for Kadokura ... ?

This is an amazing story, but it feels unfinished, like too many doors were left open ... Masato is such a sexy guy, I'd love to have seen him find his significant other ! Ogi ? Tachibana ? What about that s.o.b. to whom they owe all that money ? I would love if they would just pay him and send him on his way - he's bad news ! And I'd also love to see Kaname heal and overcome his issues - making his Souchiro (?) happy !!
Any chance Kisaragi Sensei might consider a sequel ?
thats unlikely, the artist is already 44yrs old!! although age doesnt matter but most yaoi artist retires pretty early...

That story and the one about the idol were the ones I liked less.
The others were ok, but they all explored young boys' darker side, which is really scary somehow ...
It's supposed to be a love story - and thank goodness it ended as such ... but it was also a bit sad and it really made me tear up ! Even though he practically raped Misaki, I couldn't help but feeling really sorry for the seme, when he thought of himself as just a body to be used for sexual gratification ! He just looked so sad !
Also, the art was really confusing, so that sometimes I didn't know what I was seeing ... I have mixed feelings about this manga.
I loved the one about the Yakuza father and his son's teacher - but the one about the guy who followed his class mate as an obedient dog really freaked me out tbh ...
Much too short !!! I really want more !!
