I mean, props to our seme for the dedication. This was a hard read, very triggering. The revenge on the evil people was nice to see. I wish it hadn't taken, what? 14 years he said? That's such a long time, but I guess the author was going for a bit of realism. So. Much. Suffering. It breaks my heart. The HEA was so well deserved.
I actually don't know what to rate this one. Half of me wants to give it a 0 because I hate rape. The other half wants me to give it a solid 4 stars. So, in the end, I'll just leave it blank.

Look, I get it. Desperate times call for desperate measures. And I say "desperate" because I know he didn't actually want to do it. He was trying to get away from that line of work and he did it because he needed the money.
Logically, it makes some sense because that was a big chunch of money that would help him be "less of a burden" (at least in his mind)

And I HATE it. God I would be so hurt, illogical so, if it were mean. So yeah, not in a relationship, but definitely a situationship. That's enough to consider not doing the AV. And damn his partner is a bigger person than I could ever be.
And don't get me wrong, I see no shame in that line of work if you enjoy it. It's just, since I personally couldn't accept my partner continue in that work (regardless of how lack of feelings are involved) I'm judging him harshly for it (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
