Did we ever learn why Hayan was also kidnapped?
Also in the last chapter it seemed like the author was saying jinyoo won because Gyuhwool only occupied his brain for a 'mere' couple of months. If so, then what do you think happened in the main story ending. Was he imagining that gyuhwool was the cashier or what?
First, i see why someone will give this a 4, but I'll give it a 5.
Second, I actually enjoyed this a lot.
This story accomplishes something most stories lack: consistency. In most [BL]stories characters change over time and in a character development sort of way. Instead, they change to fit the story. It should be the way around. Just think of how many times you've reread a story and realized that the uke's personality was extremely different at the start (usually stronger). The characters in the story, while unusual, are very consistent throughout the story.
Third, the author delivered good dialogue and storytelling. While I don't base my reviews off the quality of the dialogue (because this is a translation), I would like to comment on it being very natural and genuine AKA very human they're not exaggerated characters. The storytelling was good too.
Fourth, my only complaint about the story is the 'second couple'??? Honestly, I really don't understand them. I feel like we didn't get a proper intro to the dude that looks like the stalker. Their placement was just very odd. I understand that they moved the story, but I wasn't connected enough to them to understand their impact. Again, they were just planted into the story weirdly.
Lastly, I really liked the art.
Conclusion: READ IT! It's not that long and it's good.
Maybe it's cuz i hate kids but i don't think so they didn't have a BIG part in the story, and the things Shizuku did were just extremely unrealistic but that still wouldn't make me rate it this low. However, my expectations MAY have played a role in this low rating.
It just didn't make me feel anything. Really. The art was a very inconsistent and bad that it took away from the story. It did get a little better in the 2nd volume.
Ik this isn't professionally translated so im not gonna judge the dialogue that hard, but it was cheap. The plot was cheap too. The characters weren't that strong either. I think the character with the most consistent personality was the mother in law. Overall very trope-y, expected, and not memorable.
Lastly, bad art = bad sex scenes. Did not feel a thing.
It's rare for me to say this but this was a wast of time and I don't recommend it unless stories about families and kids are your thing. Still, I think this was cheap.
I understand the messages in it, but the delivery just didn't make me feel anything.
An omega verse story doesn't just become good because the alpha is respectful of the omega. There are MANY things that contribute to the quality of a manga, and this one lacks a lot of them.
Basically, this was dropped by yaoi sekai because its getting licensed on futekiya. However, i think this is just news that it *will* be there because I just checked the futekiya website and couldn't find it. please, if you have anymore info tell us.
oh np bro! I found out about it from yaoi sekai's tumblr and the 'manga updates' website. anyway, I'm really hoping after all of the 3rd vol gets published they have it there. They translate the manga name on futekiya so I couldn't search for it that way, but I searched for the author's name and I browsed all of their manga hoping i'd find it but couldn't :(
Everything is great and I liked the art. It's not your common looking pairing and that was enjoyable.
The one question I need answered is: Does Clark still have feeling for the doc? I feel like he does and just doesn't know how to treat him right or just be in a relationship from the first place. But he loves him. I can't forget about how he was rushing to open the door for him and hit his toe. He gave him a ring, loaned him money, cared for him. It wasn't just revenge for a friend. He also did things just to please him.
Anyway....
Overall
Alex is a fucking cutey im sorry but he's extremely beautiful. The dialogue was weird I can't understand how Clark has a response for everything. Some actions or reactions were not understandable like how he reacted when Alex killed a fourth person. However, I really liked how the author explained the feelings each character had in detail and why they had them. I loved the doc and Tommy, but I don't understand why Tommy didn't come to rescue Clark even though he had the address (ik he called in sick for work and turned off his phone).
This was totally not what I expected. I expected a small reporter who just wants a good article and a scary serial killer who starts taking a liking to him. Until the first few chapters I thought it will be similar (the whole have sex with me and Ill tell you the story), but then!!! Instead of glorifying serial killers, actually mental problems started to have their toll on Alex and he killed more. Cuz he's psycho!! Yes exactly you can't be in a relationship with a serial killer!! So shit went down and people suffered the consequences either losing their life or a loved one's.
Hello! Lemme try to answer a few based on how I interpreted it in hope to help you understand
- Clark's character looks like a classic manipulator. He's actively observant and calculative of other people's reactions (esp ones he is consciously trying to manipulate) this is most likely why he has a response for everything.
- He reacted like that because the 4th person's death completely broke Alex's modus operandi. This made him seem like any other killer out there to Clark (which disappointed him greatly since he thought Alex's killings were orchaestrated like a carefully painted picture that met certain criterias). The 4th person's death was completely an impulse in an attempt to get Clark's attention, which for him must've seemed really petty/mundane.
- Tommy must've thought Clark was grieving. If Clark didn't call in sick then he would've prolly looked for him & busted Alex.. this would lead to them both getting wrapped up in the case as well like what they talked about while drinking (which is why Clark insisted that Alex lets him use his phone).
Hope this cleared up a few things (⌒▽⌒)
SOMEONE PLEEEEEASE reorder the chapters. I BEG. I will be so thankful!
The mods don't seem to care even though I've reported it. It's better to read it on a different site like Bato
Noted. Thanks so much!
