i think it's my first time reading a bl where the boss actually got a good reason why he's so nasty and strict, like it's not just bcs of his tsun personality or trauma. that's refreshing to see.

i think satomi is dealing a different kind of frustration towards kyouji this time. might just be the shipper in me but i think he might be anxious that he's not the same 'adult' level as kyouji. that's why he's pissed whenever kyouji treats him like a kid. and the expensive watch shows a big gap between them.

surprisingly the plot is kinda flat and boring ngl. the worldbuilding is nice but the characters aren't giving much personality. i'm still gonna tune in tho bcs it's so rare to have bl with fantasy worldbuilding
i hope he's not actually turning into thero animal whatever it's called. i love their stark differences, that's what makes them so good. and i prefer that ml stays with him not caring that mc can't get pregnant (but he LOVES breeding his nonexistent womb)

While no specific BL comes to mind for me, it's not totally unfamiliar of an idea tbh? It could be me associating with the general trope with sickness that comes with the romance genre (whether that be het/BL/GL) but it doesn't seem unrealistic to be used enough to be called a trope
