I'm being so serious when I say this is one of the best and most satisfying stories I've ever read. I found this through tiktok and I had NO IDEA the story was THIS GOOD, cause people are only talking abt how my son Jihoon is a crybaby, well no shit HIS STORY IS TRAGIC, his mental growth was hindered but he still managed to bring me to tears with just how good he is, not to mention THE MC??? MY BOY GITAE?? WHAT AN ABSOLUTE ICON OF A CHARACTER yet I see no one talking abt him.
To list things I loved abt this story,
-Jihoon, everything about him, thats my son, I would die for him. Seeing him alone and lonely crushed my heart to pieces. Plus when he found out abt Gitae's SA and cried, the way he respected gitae made me so emotional.
-How Gitae's backstory was handled, especially how he, despite that horrific incident, didn't see himself as weak but rather helped spread awareness in order to ensure women's safety. As a girl, I've never wanted to thank a fictional character more. I rarely see women's issues mentioned or handled like this in mangas/manhwas, by the mc himself at that.
-The MC talking his revenge on his abusers by his own hands and BRUTALLY at that. I'm glad no mercy was shown to those people, no being the "better person" no "b-but killing is bad". The scene where he rips that bastards face like a zombie GAVE ME CHILLS! I LOVED the rage, the smile on his face as he watched the fire burn everything down, i was making the same expression jihoon was making as he watched gitae stomp on that disgusting rat, I'M SO FUCKING PROUD OF GITAE

I fucking hate it when they localize EVERYTHING, EVEN THE CHINESE NAMES. You have these beautiful names in the native language and then English localization is like yeah here we have Ian, Brian, Timmy and John I'm on ch22 and Su Yuan being changed to FUCKASS JONATHAN just pissed me off so badly, Yuan Yuan being changed to John-John is a crime At least choose some good sounding names if you're gonna change their names anyway

after ch20-25(tap4s version, ihatet4pas) it's mostly the official tl from webcomics which is great and doesn't change any names. I stopped reading at ch90 because it switched back to t4p4s but I checked and it seems the latter chapters are a mix of both webcomics and t4p4s tl. and sorry for the late reply, I already replied once but that disappeared for some reason
