- Jaehyuk was taking Garam to visit his mom at the hospital. Jaehyuk bit Garam's cheek after Garam said Jaehyuk has nothing to with what happened with his mom. Jaehyuk said, "Why shouldn't I care? It's about my mother-in-law" lmao

- Their conversation flows smoothly during the trip. Garam wonder's if he has ever talked to Jaehyuk without raising his voice like that before.

- When they got to the hospital, Garam was nervous before seeing his mom. Jaehyuk reassured him that his mom's surgery already went well and she's recovering. He said he doesn't need to be too nervous and that he should go in comfortably. Jaehyuk also thinks he almost hugged Garam in that moment.

- Garam cried again while at the hospital. His mom woke up and they most likely had a talk. He looked content/like he had no regrets when he was ready to leave the hospital :')

- Garam thanked Jaehyuk on the way back. Jaehyuk also said he did it because it was him. Then they were awkward and Jaehyuk basically said, "Sorry to break the atmosphere, but I had an accident "

- Garam was crying last chapter because he only found out (thru call) about his mom's cancer after her surgery. His parents kept it from him so he wouldn't worry. Garam bought a bus ticket, but he can't risk missing a class before finals. He's still so worried and he calls himself pathetic.

- Jaehyuk watches him cry. He grabs Garam's face and wipes his tears. He tells him he's not pathetic and that he was being realistic for thinking about those stuff. He asks where the hospital is.

- It's gonna take 4 hours to go to the hospital by car but they can make it to Garam's class. Garam asks him why he should be involved, and Jaehyuk says he worries too much and that it's not too late.

- Jaehyuk has been leaving food on the door for a week. Garam thinks if Jaehyuk gets what he wants, Jaehyuck will quickly lose interest because of his half-hearted feelings and in the end, Garam will be the one who gets hurt. It won't be the first time it happened for him, and he's not gonna get himself involved anymore with someone who's not gay.

- Jaehyuk signed a contract for a new place for Garam instead of the shabby place Garam planned to move to. He even sold his stuff for the payment. Shinjoo asked him about it and he mistakenly said Garam's name while going on a rant about the shabby place. Shinjoo thinks it's the girl Jaehyuk likes. She asks if he plans on living together. Jaehyuk says it's just his greed, he'll say it's his friend's empty place that Garam could use.

- He texted Garam that he has something to talk about and waited in front of their room. While waiting, he thinks that he realized in the week he hasn't seen Garam that he likes him more than he thought. And because Garam didn't come back, he also realized that Garam hated him more than he thought.

- He leaves the dorm and sees Garam from afar. When he got close though, he sees that Garam is crying and asks what happened.

I am here again for the no 2nd lead agenda, it's like everyone forgot that Garam doesn't even wanna date ever again (see chapter 40).

Also, let's be real, if some 2nd lead does come, he already stands no chance against Jaehyuk especially when at this point, Garam already can't get him out of his mind (see chapter 41-42). After all, hate isn't the opposite of love - it's ignorance, and so far, Garam, even with his constant rejections, can't bring himself to just ignore Jaehyuk.

- Garam is still angry at Jaehyuk. Jaehyuk tried to ask if he can go back to their room now but Garam glared at him and he took it as a no.

- Before Jaehyuk went back to his friend's place, he bought sandwiches for Garam because he knew Garam wouldn't eat a proper meal and left it at the door of their room.

- Garam was pissed off when he went back to the dorm after Jaehyuk texted him about the sandwiches. He already couldn't sleep well after Jaehyuk's confession and he couldn't concentrate in class after getting angry at seeing his face. Still, he notices how much sandwiches Jaehyuk bought for him. He told himself to hang on until the break.

- Jaehyuk finds out through his friend that Garam will move to a different place during the break. He thought of renting the room next to Garam's because he still wanted to see him. But he checked out the place and it was shabby af so he couldn't let Garam live there.

- Jaehyuk reflects on how Garam rejected him. He admits he couldn't say a word back to Garam because Garam was right. He looks back on the things he did and regrets it saying he's a complete asshole.

- He says it's right to quit because the confession is ruined, but he remembers how it was always noisy when he's with Garam but sometimes in the early morning, he would hug Garam and stare at him and pepper him with kisses while he slept, and Jaehyuk says he still doesn't want to give up.

- He goes back to their dorms the next day when Garam wasn't there. He went to lay down on Garam's bed. He says they only had sex in the time they've been living together and wonders what kind of dates Garam would like. It leads to him thinking about Garam's past relationships which pissed him off.

- Then he hears Garam in front of the door and scrambles to get off his bed because he wasn't ready to see his face. Garam finds him awkwardly standing at the middle of the room trying to sound as casual as possible lol
