I am sad that the work was canceled, but I understand that the author / authors live off his work and would never be happy to see his work being pirated. I am sad not to read the rest / conclusion of this wonderful story and I hope that the authors find another way to profit from their dreams without being stolen.
But if we fujoshis spent five dollars for each website we enter or work we read ... I believe (I) would be cured of this addiction! ^^

If I had a new phase I would suggest that Rain go to college, do medicine and find a new love (similar to Dean). But he also had difficulties, like the devil trying to get his soul and chase him with illusions.
