I'm all for yuri but Lily doesn't peg me as a inherently romantic person like she got all this problems in her life so she saw ML not as a chance to be happily in love but to be free from her family also she is so depressed after all this years of abuse she just need to focus on healing herself and a love relationship isn't really the best way to do that imo

they've a whole ass meta system of dealing with omegas and alphas to ensure both of their safety and basically if an alpha attacks an omega, the alpha has to prove that he's not a threat anymore but there's no proper way to do this aka in this case the doctor is doing a research to prevent alphas/omegas of being trapped inside forever by clipping a gps into their body and that stick tells them the location and condition of the patient with that they can prove that they're able to function in society again or get them back if they can't do it but this whole project is not licensed. They're basically doing something illegal by trying this out he can probably leave the hospital soon
