I am actually impressed the MC told him the truth in this scenario, I feel like in other manga’s they like to drag out lies as long as possible but here he was like “wait before I answer you let me tell you the truth” and for that I got RESPECT for him. I am on chapter 56 and the names are confusing me. In her 2nd life, her name is now Ye Xingling isn’t it? So why does the boss and other people sometimes call her Xiao Ling which sounds too similar to the name she had in her first life which was Xia Ling. So what’s up with the 2 different names, why do they sometimes call Ye Xingling, Xiao Ling?
