I- I don’t know, I’ve read plenty of things like this but this one falls into my category of yes it’s toxic, but no it doesn’t feel like a guilty pleasure. You know, like you read shit like Jinx, you hate Jaekyung but there’s a part of you that enjoys the toxicity and drama, and then there’s stories like this that take it a bit too far and suddenly you can’t even be in that bubble of guilty pleasure anymore. It’s just straight up awful. That’s my feeling anyway.

They're most likely, considering what happend at the end of season 1, hasn't been drawn yet but will be in chapter 45

Did it explicitly say that the poet and old man died in the novel? I don't remember. I just assumed they safe and were not mentioned anymore. What chapter in novel did they die?
i also read the novel and i don’t remember them being brought up again. poet is brought up in passing when an zhe thinks about him and his works but him and mr.shaw don’t appear again after judgement day(and the evacuation to the main city)
they maybe didn’t make it considering how the climatic scene towards the end was very doomsday and not many survived especially in the northern base(where they’re currently located)—ch48. vol 2–but we’ll never really know cuz they don’t physically reappear in the storyline.
They are dead, considering how the novel has violent themes; it's an apocolyptic world where majority of humanity is already dead. And it's not like the world is still safe. Theyre on the verge of callopse as seen in later chapters. Poet and Mr. Shaw do get mentioned but considering how the novel is filled with monsters and the remaining people have to do their best to stop everyone from dieing. They're 100% dead as is everyone else that was in the outer city after being blown up. Even later in the novel, I won't spoil too much but a lot of people die and only a few are left in the end I think. So if a character is presumed to be gone they probably are
We all know the next season will be some kind of chasing arc and they’ll be together at the end. I read raws and they do break up but don’t be discouraged. We’ve read all these bls and we know they’re a cute ass couple that’ll end up together again. Though it’ll be a bit before they do cause there’s another whole ass season.

Y’all, I saw the raw for chapter 71. He’s definitely unconscious as fuck. But he could possibly be dead too. Peter’s carrying his limp body on his back, he passed out and possibly died. No conformation of that yet. But all the flashback deathflags are showing and bro got half blown up. I’m praying for a miracle that he’s just gonna be in a coma or some shit cause I just can’t see him die. I just finished arcane, I can’t go through more deaths of my favorite characters. ╥﹏╥
