I mean if she’s the reincarnation it kinda is. If FL possessed the body that already had her spirit in it wouldn’t it be the FL who stole the body? If FL was always the reincarnation as in she already was in her life on earth and then when current original body owner moved on they possessed it together then it changes things. I was thinking first that FL then would have claim because saint had her own life and it’s not fair to steal FLs, but then I realized that FL also already had her own life and died too she just stole possession of the body first. So I’m not really sure whose you would technically deem it as. It’s like a person with split personalities. Like which personality is the “real” owner. I’m very confused now. From everything we’ve heard so far the saintess was a good person and sacrificed everything for the people even her own love so unless things change I kind of hope she gets a happy ending too. I wonder though if ML isn’t actually the past lover though. If you remember the first flashback guy reaching out for her was blue-eyed like priest, but this most recent flashback it was red eyes like ML. It might be a 1000 year old love triangle. Another option though is it isn’t a romantic love per se and it’s Abel the kid which would explain why she’s always been so obsessed with him from the start… in short… I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!!!

Totally respect that opinion and am probably just overthinking it. I’m also thinking more in a philosophical sense than story sense. But, philosophically your basically saying first come first serve for rights to the body. No calling dibs by saying you will reincarnate into it ahead of time. Also that would mean should the original owners spirit ever come back it would then be FL who needs to stay out of it and watch ML be betrayed by being with some other man original likes. Finally, even if we accept that FL is body’s owner now we don’t know what Saintess knows. Maybe their personalities will start to merge and it’s to early to say how they’ll feel so don’t jump in bed and regret it for the rest of your life when you don’t know yet. Another possibility is the saintess might be trying to warn or protect FL in some way. After all maybe there’s any even deeper reason the church is so opposed to ML/FL getting together. Perhaps that sets of the kind of disaster her coming foreshadows. Like I said we really just don’t know enough yet to say if the saintess should stay out of it or not
