Like just yesterday I went for a thyroid check cause the doctor who previously diagnosed me recommended me meds but the one I met yesterday said not to take meds right away.
I mean you have options, to carefully consult doctors and make the decision.
Some people have just trust in others expecially when they are not educated about the subject. Also there are monetary and time issues as well.
I also been diagnosed with thyroid issues (subclinical hypothyroidism) like 15 years ago and got meds prescribed right away. Since I was young and not educated about the subject I took it without questioning. Then it made me feel worse so I stopped and went to another doc who only suggested higher dose. Which I end up not taking anyways.

Did you only have elevated tsh or also ft4 and ft4?
They did a test on ft3, ft4, tsh but TSH was high. Around 6. something

Im just a rando on the internet but I would advice to check for deficiencies first, stuff like vit d, iodine, selenium can have an impact on thyroid. Also do an ultrasound. My doc missed it because they didn't calculate volume on the scan directly but I recently discovered that my thyroid have atrophied and went from 7ml in 2015 to 3ml in 2020, norms are around 10-18ml. I still have to confirm but since there's no structural damage most likely cause was iodine deficiency.

You’re absolutely correct. People often forget to consider what the person being lashed out might be going through themself. Let’s say someone is going through a really horrible experience. There is so much emotional pain in their life, so they become irritable and lash out at someone else because of it. But what is the person they lash out at is someone who is also going through so much? What if the person being lashed out at is at the end of their rope emotionally? Not everyone shows their pain to others freely. The person being lashed out at could end up in a worse situation than the person lashing out. There’s no reason why anyone should risk becoming the grain of rice that broke the camels back, just because they’re in pain.
Being hurt doesn’t give anyone the right to hurt others. And even if the other person isn’t going through something difficult, lashing out at someone innocent is still massively rude.
